On moving day, your assigned crew will arrive at your door ready to pack and transport your belongings with care. Household goods are professionally packed and furniture and appliances are padded for protection to ensure your possessions arrive in the same condition as when they were picked up. The length of time required for the loading and unloading of your household goods depends on how large the move is and how prepared you are for the event. At Allied Transit, we understand that any delay of your shipment can be both costly and inconvenient. Allied consistently strives for "100%" on-time pickup and delivery. As a result, your shipment is covered by our Performance Promise option. If a delay should occur, the shipper will be reimbursed for reasonable commercial lodging and food expenses (as determined by Allied and Western Van and Storage), up to 100% of the discounted linehaul transportation of the shipment.

Our relocation consultant will work with you to color-code tag your cartons and furniture, this labeling pre-organizes your offices from the old to new location. At origin, your household goods are packed and then loaded by the same local crew into heavy-duty air-sea containers. Your furniture and appliances are further protected by export wrap, specially developed for the high rate of handling involved in international moving.

Because proper planning and implementation can make all the difference when transitioning to a new location, we begin by providing you with a "single-point-of-contact" for your relocation. A sales person will be assigned to ensure the safe and convenient transportation of your belongings by explaining the moving process and developing a plan of action. Depending on your needs, your move will be arranged for transit by rail, air, or sea using our expertise in customs clearance and international moving practices.

Tracking
After your goods are sent, our In-Transit Service allows you to receive status updates on the movement of your shipment via the Internet. In addition, your sales person will contact you during the delivery to address any immediate questions or concerns, and once again in 7-10 days to assess your satisfaction with the quality of the move.
